Our dental office accepts various PPO dental insurance plans including Anthem Blue Cross.
An Individual or Family plan with Anthem Bluecross is either Dental Blue Basic or Dental Blue Enhanced. The Basic plan covers most diagnostic and preventive services as well as certain basic and major treatments with a $500 maximum benefit. The Enhanced plan has nearly all services covered and a $1,250 maximum benefit.
If your dental insurance is through your employer at a small business, you most likely have Dental Prime or Dental Complete. Both of these plans fully cover diagnostic and preventive services and also have partial coverage for some basic and major services.
If you are insured through your employer at a large company, you are covered by either Dental Blue, Dental Prime or Dental Complete. With Dental Blue, 100% of diagnostic and preventive services are covered as well as partial or majority coverage for various basic and major treatments/procedures. Since deductibles, maximums and some treatments can be customized with the Dental Prime or Dental Complete plans for larger groups, you will need to review your specific plan to see what exactly is covered.
